Workshop Overview

The 2018 International Workshop on IT Services and Security for Medical and Healthcare (MediSSec-18) will be held in Jeju, in conjunction with PlatCon-18, during 29-31 January 2018. A sustainable medical IT service is required anywhere and anytime by changing social and financial environment rapidly. For these, the medical fields are being converged with the IT like u-healthcare. However, a risk related to medical IT service is getting higher because the hacking about healthcare organizations and medical devices, the data breach by internal employees and sharing a medical information among healthcare organizations and so on. The focus of MediSSec-18 will be on protecting the security and privacy of these next-generation medical and healthcare IT Services. MediSSec-18 will offer a chance to communicate and share the knowledges and the research outcomes including the-state-of-art technology in medical and healthcare IT Services and security. Furthermore we can suggests the opportunity for the social networks with the world’s leading experts in these research areas.
